The Parental Alienation Project

Drs. Jennifer J. Harman (Department of Psychology) and Zeynep Biringen (Human Development and Family Studies) from Colorado State University have launched a several projects examining the problem of parental alienation. Parental alienation involves a parent damaging the relationship between his or her child(ren) towards the other parent.

The primary goal of their work is to better understand parental alienation tactics and how parents cope when they are being alienated from their children. To stay updated on the work of the Parental Alienation project, you can visit the project's home page here.

Dr. Harman will also soon be available for coaching services for parents who are the targets of parental alienation. More will be available here soon.
